Supporting the next generation of pilots
The goal of our program is to support aspiring pilots, benefit the aviation community, and further Flywell interests.
Has specific and realistic goals for advancement in aviation, such as obtaining a private pilot license, qualifying for an aviation profession, or contributing to a charitable cause.
Has demonstrated a need for financial assistance to progress toward their aviation goals.
Will contribute to the betterment of Flywell and/or the Minnesota aviation community.
Is at least 16 years old on or before the application close date.
At minimum, holds a current FAA Student Pilot Certificate or has a pending application in IACRA at time of application.
Has demonstrated ability to pay ongoing flying costs and fixed costs associated with club membership.
Scholarship application period begins. Application form becomes available.
All applications must be submitted by this date.
Committee reviews applications and may conduct interviews.
Recipient is announced and notified.
2-year scholarship membership period starts.
